196. Japan Part 2
Japan Day 4 - Tokyo.
Bullet train, dinner, akihabara.
Took a 3 hour bullet train to Tokyo. My bro and I slept the whole ride (again). And we went to eat lunch/dinner. My bro and I were so hungry since we usually eat 5 meals a day.. yes we do. Made our way through the busy streets of Shinjuku to reach our hotel, Hotel Washington. The hotel was nice overall since the toilet seats were heated (so that our butts wouldn't freeze and drop off in the morning) but the toilet was kind of low and small I could feel myself becoming claustrophobic. We made our way down to Akihabara, an electric town which sells all those anime stuff and has a million arcades. We went there to eat dinner and it was... expensive. Yes it was. We went to this 5 storey arcade in Akihabara! Yup and we walked by these few benches where everyone sitting on them were playing with their Nintendo Ds. DS PARTY! Haha and apparently in Japan, teens under the age of 18 aren't allowed to be in arcades after 10pm. So I got chased out ): Didn't take much pictures that day cause there was nothing to take pictures of. Haha.

Day 5.
Disneyland.
Yup! DISNEYLANDZ~ We woke up really early that day and took a train to Disney. Then we were debating on whether to go to Disneyland or Disneysea, so we decided to flip a coin. It was Disneyland, so my brother got upset and started drawing circles on the floor I can't even. Haha we sat alot of rides. We first sat big thunder mountain which was the outdoor roller coaster, then we sat the wet ride (but I didn't get wet...) , Splash mountain and then Pirates of the Caribbean. Ate lunch! Their lunch boxes came in the shape of Mickey Mouse it was so cute ^__^ After that we sat Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters whereby I got owned by my brother in the point system -__- and then we queued really long for Space Mountain! Hee, it was the best ride there. Soo funnn. Then we queued for Monster Inc, sad to say, it was quite a disappointment. After that, we went to this Queen of Hearts restaurant where their foods were in the shape of hearts? Super pretty and it was a really interesting idea of theirs. We walked around and waited till 8.30 for the fireworks to start! It was really pretty~ And I managed to catch really nice pictures of it ^__^

Day 6. Last Day.
Last day was spent shopping! We went back to Akihabara to catch more stuff from the arcade and my bro went their to buy his anime stuff. We then went to Lumine shopping centre near our hotel to shop! I rushed all the way to hmv to get my SNSD Japan Arena Tour DVD, sad I couldn't find the Holiday photobook though ): Haha we went shopping which wasn't exactly shopping cause our legs were aching so badly and we needed to sit down. I saw a really nice baseball jacket, but it was for men.. so ): We then proceeded onto the shuttle bus to the airport where we went on our food shopping spree~ We then boarded the plane and I slept through out the whole ride. Woke up to a butt cramp : / and now I'm back to reality in Singapore ):

195. Japan part 1
Japan Day 1.
Plane ride, bullet train, spa world & dotonbori.
We stopped over at a cafe in Tokyo for awhile while waiting for our train, so I had hot milk! It was... freezing cold. Then came the 3 hour bullet train ride. Bullet trains are a million times more comfy than airplanes. And then came the really interesting statement by my bro's friend.
"How do both of you sleep so much? We ordered sushi and we wanted to share but then both of you we're sleeping away so soundly." WHOOPS /)__(\ Once we reached Osaka, we checked in into our Hotel, Hotel Kinki. Such a cute name isn't it! We then proceeded to spa world. Yeah we soaked in hot springs! Haha and I tried a new ice cream flavour! Milk ice cream! It tasted so good, nothing like vanilla. It was really MILK. Spa World was really cool, it even had an arcade! That's where my bro caught me my first rilakkuma! At night we headed to dotonbori, a famous shopping spot in Osaka. We ate pancakes for dinner, it was the first time I felt SO full in my life, and realised that I only ate half the pancake -__- At night, my bro and I went down to family mart to buy ramen as supper... TEEHEE. We were too hungry. The day wasn't all that exciting, but the spa was relaxing since we're all so shag from the plane + bullet train ride.
Japan Day 2.
Temples,bamboo forests and hard-boiled eggs.
On the second day, we visited 2 temples, a bamboo forest and finally experienced how early the sun sets in Japan... 4.30 and we're like... "Are you sure it's 4.30?! It looks likes it's 9 already!" Anyway, we took a train to Higashiyama District, one of Kyoto's best preserved historic district. We slowly walked up the slope where they sold really unique stuff like cucumbers on sticks. After what seemed like a long hike up, we reached Kiyomizudera Temple! It was really pretty with all the red tiny maple leaves and stuff and the sky was... perfect. There was this love shrine behind the temple where there were love stones and stuff and there was this waterfall where by we used cups to drink from 3 streams that came straight from a waterfall. Also, we paid a small fee to enter a pitch black darkness to signify 'rebirth'. So kewl. After that, we made our way to another temple which was, unfortunately, about the close by the time we reached, so we walked to the bamboo forests! Didn't manage to capture nice pictures of it since the sun had already set by that time ): Yeap. We were walking back to the train station when we passed by this egg store and so we sat down for awhile to eat since we were hungry. So we went back to this entertainment complex near our hotel and ate pasta for dinner and then went to an arcade where I caught... 3 more rilakkuma stuff toys. ^___^

Japan Day 3.
Mount Koya and a walk in the graveyard.
Okay so after a really awesome breakfast, we took a really long train ride up to Mount Koya. Then we changed to a cable car which brought us up to the mountain. We headed straight for a really really expensive lunch which costs me about.. SGD $48? It was crazy, but the food tasted really good! The food was inspirational (: So then we walked along the streets of Mount Koya and we went into a graveyard~ It wasn't scary, it was actually calming and stuff cause it's said to help people clear their minds. Fortunately, we managed to catch the last bus back to the cable car station! If not we would have to walk back! Yeap and when we wanted to walk to this electric town in Osaka but we walked in the wrong direction and just decided to go back to our hotel. Hee (: Our last day in Osaka was just spent like that.

193. Superman
Leaving for the land of the rising sun in 4 days!
And guess who's the awesome kid who hasn't packed yet :/
And if you think that guys don't camwhore, you're wrong. Look at my brother!
"Hey are you bringing your camera?" "Yeah! Why?" "Nothing, I wanted you to bring so you can take a thousand pictures of me." -______-
I guess it'll be a good time to try out my new camera though (:
Anyway, gonna do some last minute shopping with my mom later for winter clothes.
It's only after I took out all my clothes do I realise that I have almost no winter clothes and Japan is like 10 degrees?!
Okay so half of the holidays are over, and I am not done with homework.
I can't imagine myself being sec 4 in a month. I really can't.
I can't imagine the teachers dumping us with homework and practice papers and I can't imagine myself doing them.
And my schedules are like really really packed... I wonder if I can even finish my holiday homework.
Urgh /facepalm/
Oh well I'll just try to complete as much homework as I can before I leave for Japan (:
